Heartbreak - Poem

I’m in a Labyrinth of excitement

I love the Challenge

I crave the unity and the wholeness

I never want to believe in anything else but this

I accept everything I’m told

I try my hardest

I feel exhilarated

To find everything is untrue

Everyone you know has backstabbed

Laughed at my expense

Like the walls of my world are being removed brick by brick

I’m trying my best to clutch, hold it all together

I forgive and try to forget

I want back the dream I first had

But that’s exactly what it was, a dream

To try and find a solution but get fed up

To want to exit the Labyrinth but I can’t

Something is holding me back

I don’t know if it’s the confusion or the feeling I’m going to miss more

Is it me he wanted or a girl friend?
